Recognizing The Accomplishments of Patrick Lee

The Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans selected Patrick P. Lee as one of 11 people to receive the Horatio Alger Award in 2013. The award is presented each year to individuals who have overcome obstacles to become successful entrepreneurs or community leaders. Lee will be honored during the 66th Annual Horatio Alger Awards Induction Ceremonies held April 4 - 6 in Washington, D.C.

Lee is the Chairman of The Patrick P. Lee Foundation with offices in Buffalo and Southern Florida. He was most recently Chairman and CEO of International Motion Control Inc.

"Having lived the American Dream," stated Mr. Lee, " I have to thank my business associates. We don’t do it alone, yes there is leadership, boldness and determination but you also need your associates on the factory floors, in the offices and who through their efforts, made it happen. Remember to give back, start early, philanthropy begins with the first small donation, as you succeed, it will increase and eventually be in the millions".

Horatio Alger scholarships represent an essential element to our educational system, I am proud to have been included. A $400,000 donation has been made to the 2013 Horatio Alger Awards to support the educational programs offered by the Association.

The Patrick P. Lee Foundation promotes awareness through education, medical research, behavioral health and human and community services.
