Lee Foundation Welcomes Dr. Dori Marshall to the Grant Committee

Dr. Dori Marshall, Chief Medical Officer at Oishei Children’s Hospital, has joined the Lee Foundation Grant Committee.

 

A board-certified psychiatrist, Dr. Marshall graduated from the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo where she then completed her residency in psychiatry. She is currently an associate professor of psychiatry and has held several leadership positions including medical director of the Adolescent Unit at ECMC, director of inpatient psychiatry and associate chief of service at ECMC, president of the UBMD Governing Board, and associate dean and director of medical admissions at the Jacobs School of Medicine.

 

As Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Marshall oversees the medical affairs of Oishei Children’s Hospital and its pediatric and women’s health ambulatory clinical centers. Her clinical expertise in treating adolescents and young adults with mental health challenges enables her to lead the integration of mental and behavioral health services into the pediatric and women’s health service lines at Oishei Children’s Hospital.

 

In 2022, Dr. Marshall received the Faculty Award of Excellence for promoting inclusion and cultural diversity. She is also the recipient of the Leonard Tow 2018 Humanism in Medicine Award and a Jacobs School of Medicine Siegel Teaching Award. She is a member of Gold Humanism Honor Society. Dr. Marshall has served on the ECMC Physician Wellness Committee and provided psychiatric support to the Kaleida Health and ECMC COVID-19 Warmline.
