Lee Foundation Grants Additional $50,000 to COVID 19 Relief Efforts.
In response to the ongoing needs of the WNY Community, the Lee Foundation awarded an additional $50,000 grant to the WNY COVID 19 Community Response Fund. This brings the Lee Foundation's commitment to $175,000.
The Western New York COVID-19 Community Response Fund is a collaborative philanthropic effort that was created in March 2020 in response to the COVID-19 health crisis. To date, the WNY COVID-19 Community Response Fund has raised approximately $7 million from 60 local foundations and private sector companies, more than 40 community leaders and approximately 1,900 individuals.
