Jane M. Mogavero Named Executive Director

The Patrick P. Lee Foundation, a foundation dedicated to supporting organizations that have a positive impact in the areas of medical care & research, education, human & community services and behavioral health, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jane Mogavero as executive director effective January 1, 2016. 

 

Board President, Patrick Lee states, “The Board is excited to have Jane join our Foundation. Her experience in the nonprofit and foundation sectors is important as we continue to grow and deepen our commitment to the causes and the communities we serve.”

 

Mogavero has extensive experience in nonprofit advancement, including positions as Director of Development at the Hospice Foundation of WNY and the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens.  Most recently, Jane served as Director, Client Relations at the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo, where she assisted clients in achieving their philanthropic goals.   

 

“It is an honor to be part of the Patrick P. Lee Foundation and I look forward to partnering with the area’s foundations and nonprofit organizations in this new capacity,” says Mogavero. 

 

Mogavero’s community involvement has included serving on the boards of Artpark & Co., Lothlorien Therapeutic Riding Center, The Edward M. Cotter Fireboat and the WNY Planned Giving Consortium.    

 

Mogavero received her undergraduate education from Fordham University and earned her law degree from Boston College Law School.  She is a past recipient of YWCA Emerging Leaders Award and was a recipient of Buffalo Business First’s 40 Under 40 award.
