Horizon Health Services Receives $50,000 Grant

The grant will allow Horizon Health Services to continue their efforts in building the Young Adult 25-Bed rehab facility on their Horizon Village campus out in Sanborn, New York. Prescription medications present the nation's fastest growing drug abuse challenge, especially among young people. For individuals with serious problems, including opiate addiction, residential treatment offers the best chance for stabilization and early recovery. One of the many goals at Horizon Health Services once the center is completed, is to offer families the opportunity to heal, recognizing that their participation is essential for long-term recovery. 



Located in Key Largo, FL and Amherst, NY, the Patrick P. Lee Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to providing support to non-profit organizations that empower families and communities with the resources needed to create positive change in areas of education, medical treatment /research, mental health and human & community services in parts of Dade and Monroe counties in South Florida and Erie and Niagara counties in New York.
