Crisis to Care Collaborative in the News
On December 16, 2025, the Crisis to Care Collaborative, a county wide initiative to strengthen the mental health crisis response system, released its status report analyzing how emergency call centers, police, EMS, and health providers in Erie County respond to people experiencing a mental health-related emergency. With more than 30 independent government agencies and at least 10 nonprofit health service providers contributing to the report, the CTC is using the report’s insights to guide next steps and help the community develop a clear roadmap forward.makes clear that despite existing challenges there are many opportunities to make meaningful systemic improvements.
