BeKind2TheMind Featured on AM Buffalo
Executive Director, Jane Mogavero, was invited back to AM Buffalo to continue the conversation about BeKind2TheMind. The initiative, which launched in May, has two primary goals:
1. Raise awareness and educate about mental illness and the community impact
2. Increase pressure on elected officials to prioritize mental health funding
The first phase of the initiative features Congressman Brian Higgins (D) and Congressman Tom Reed (R) both from New York. Given our current political climate, the collaboration between the two men is notable.
