UB Doctoral Psychology Internship Program Receives $266,200

In 2018, the Lee Foundation partnered with University Psychiatric Practice to develop a doctoral psychology internship program focused on serious mental illness. 

The program’s goals include:

  • Provide comprehensive clinical training focused on SMI
  • Increase the capacity at the participating clinical sites
  • Develop the pipeline of mental health professionals
  • Build a unique, specialized internship opportunity that brings talent to WNY

To ensure the program's continued growth and success, in December 2020, we provided an additional $266,200 in grant funds.
